Wikipedia: Preproduction
"In the music industry, pre-production is a process where a recording artist spends time creating and refining their music ideas and producing a demo recording or rough-draft of a song in order to establish ahead of time if the ideas are promising. The goal is to enter into the major recording phase of production with the basic and most promising ideas already established."
Preproduction is an important part of any project - ironing out kinks in songs and getting used to the recording process ahead of time can take a good session and make it a great one! With this in mind, Signaturetone is offering a preproduction special:
If your band comes in for 2 hours of recording with us and pays our full day rate, when you come in for your full project the first day is free! This not only gives you some valuable ahead of time experience with our facility, it gives you a chance to evaluate and refine your tunes before recording. Also, if you're not coming in for a while, you get a great sounding demo to put up online or use to get gigs at venues in the meantime. The free time is our way of saying "thanks for taking the time to care about your project as much as we do!".
Now let's make some music, folks.
