Does not post enough, but expect a BUNCH of new stuff soon! I just cut tracks for 4 new albums that are gonna kill it and am finishing the mix on another 2, so prepare for an overload of me showing of m'little babies and talking about how rad all the bands I work with are and etc etc etc.

New music up on the Signaturetone player: the track 2cBent from the new Blue Ox record Stray Dogs On Pity Party Island. I have to say, I'm absolutely in love with what we did on this record. The band had the confidence in me to really let me work some crazy production on this one, so strap on the headphones, put aside about four minutes of your life, and check it out. The album is one long journey into the dark exploding smokeflower of a psychotic break from reality, and I'm stoked to see where this takes my Boyz.
So yeah, the heavyness is back on the Signaturetone music player this week in their honor. Check out a bunch of the killer groups who've I had the pleasure of getting rude and loud with recently.
There's a quick pre-Christmas Christmasing for you on the music player - who doesn't like Vince Guaraldi? I had producer/musician extroardinare Marty Brueggerman lay down this quick jam to give you a taste of our beautiful 1920's upright piano we have for use! She's a bit dark on this take as I was using ribbon mics on the back of the soundboard, but I have the feeling this piano can sound like almost anything with the proper treatment and placement. The action feels lovely as well, and it sits in mixes like a dream.
In that vein, the next song down is an updated version of one of Marty's songs featuring new keys parts all lovingly blown out with tape wobble and dub delay. Enjoy!
